This Privacy Policy describes how ZeroGluten ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the ZEROGLUTEN mobile application (the "App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.


1Information We Collect

A. Personal Information You Provide

To provide our bakery services and fulfill orders, we collect the following information that you provide directly:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password.
  • Delivery Information: Physical address, delivery notes, and preferred delivery methods.
  • Health/Dietary Preferences: Optional information regarding gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or coeliac requirements to ensure food safety.
  • Payment Data: Payment information is processed securely by our third-party provider (SumUp). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Location Data (Foreground): We collect your location while the app is open to show nearby pickup points and estimate delivery times.
  • Location Data (Background): If you have an active delivery order, we may collect your precise location while the app is in the background to allow our drivers to find you. You can opt-out at any time via your device settings.
  • Device Information: ID, model, OS version, and IP address for security and to send push notifications via Firebase.

C. Permissions Used

  • Camera: Used exclusively for scanning QR codes to fulfill orders or claim promotional deals.
  • Microphone: Initialized by underlying scanning libraries only; no audio is transmitted or stored.
  • Push Notifications: Used for order status updates and promotional notifications.

2How We Use Your Information

  • Order Fulfillment: Processing bakery orders, managing payments, and providing customer support.
  • Delivery Logistics: Using GPS data to track active deliveries and ensure accurate delivery updates.
  • Account Management: Verifying your identity and maintaining your account security.
  • Communications: Sending notifications about your delivery status and app updates.

3Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only provide requested information to trusted third-party service providers for payment processing and core operation of the App or when required by law. Any information transmitted back and forth between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols, stored securely, and never shared with any third party for marketing purposes.

4Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical measures, including SSL/TLS encryption and secure API communication, to protect your data from unauthorized access. Your information is stored on secure servers and access is strictly limited to authorized personnel only. Data is retained only as long as necessary for fulfilling orders or legal compliance.

5Data Deletion and Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request the completion/deletion of your personal information stored in our system at any time.

How to Request Deletion

To request a full and permanent deletion of your account and all associated customer data, please send an email to:

  • The Application Name (ZeroGluten)
  • Your Username/Account Name
  • Your Login ID (Email address used for the account)

* Deletion requests are processed manually and will be fully completed within 7 business days.
